Jobscience is proud to participate in Salesforce’s digital app marketplace, AppExchange. That’s why we are also excited to announce that AppExchange is about to reach a milestone – this week Salesforce AppExchange will hit 3 million downloads. This is a truly significant benchmark, especially given how quickly Salesforce achieved it. As ZDNet reported, it took six years for AppExchange to reach 1 million installations, but just two years for it to double this number. Now, the platform is about to surpass 3 million.

For those not in the know, AppExchange is Salesforce’s cloud-based marketplace for business apps. Through this platform, users have quick access to more than 2,500 different software applications to grow and build their businesses, from applicant tracking software, like Jobscience’s, to analytics, sales enablement and much more. Posting an app in the exchange is beneficial for both end users and companies. End users have access to many different options they need in one resource, complete with the information they need to make a decision. Companies gain a marketing opportunity and visibility for their products and services.

For a company like Jobscience that is all about aligning a recruitment agency’s sales, recruitment and operations functions on a single platform while effectively connecting recruiters with job seekers, we have to admire a process set up to seamlessly connect customers and companies. Through a user-friendly interface, customers can search and quickly implement apps to support their business needs. We also admire the transparency of the platform, which enables users to leave honest reviews of products for other users to see.

As recruiting experts, we understand the need to make a winning impression early on in the customer acquisition process. Jobscience has listed two apps in the exchange, our Talent Acquisition and our Staffing and Recruiting Agency app. Together, the apps have close to 200 reviews and an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars. Over the years we’ve heard many kind words from customers and a significant amount of useful feedback from customers who expressed concerns. We use this information to continue to improve.

In 2011, Jobscience was also honored to receive the AppExchange Best of ’11 Award for Human Resources and Recruiting. This is one of 11 different categories recognizing apps that have great user reviews over the course of the year.
