SAN FRANCISCO – November 8, 2011 – Jobscience, the leading Talent Relationship Management provider on [Force.com](http://www.force.com), today announced the availability of the Winter ’12 Release of its award-winning TalentCloud Recruiting application. This new version helps companies expand qualified candidate pools by searching the entire work history and education of each candidate, expanding address validation internationally, leveraging industry leading social recruiting capabilities and improve data tracking to ensure effective EEO data collection.
“Today’s high unemployment doesn’t mean that employers are quickly and easily filling open positions,” said Ted Elliott, CEO of Jobscience. “In fact, it’s quite the opposite. HR is buried in resumes from unqualified applicants and struggling to meet the increasing requirements to remain EEO compliant. The reality is that the Tech Talent Wars and the Baby Boomer Skill Gap are keeping many jobs unfilled as more companies tap into the global marketplace to attract top talent.”
“The overwhelming need for superior employee quality is driving a rethink in HR,” said Denis Pombriant, managing principal at Beagle Research. “This new version of TalentCloud Recruiting is a great example of a solution that hones the targeting in both the application and recruiting processes on a global scale by applying a CRM-style approach to hiring. By putting the candidate at the center of the process rather than using a transactional approach for each application area, companies and applicants save time and that often means money. There’s a lot to like here because Jobscience leverages the [Force.com](http://www.force.com) platform to deliver one of the most reliable and scalable solutions in the industry.”
“There is definitely a talent war going on and qualifying candidates is our biggest issue,” said Jody Hilton, CEO of Strategic IT Staffing. “We are excited about this Winter Release – particularly the Extended Candidate Record Search and the new social media functionality – which we expect to help us efficiently expand pools of qualified candidates for our clients and in turn, place people in roles at companies where they can be successful.”
Key new capabilities within TalentCloud Recruiting include: Dynamic Job Application, Extended Candidate Record Search, EEO Compliance Engine, Global Recruiting and Apply with LinkedIn.
Dynamic Job Application – Candidates are often limited by the number of positions they are able to apply for at a company, either because the job board doesn’t allow it or the process is too tedious to answer the same questions repeatedly. It is also a liability for employers to have inconsistent answers from applicants. The Dynamic Job Application function using artificial intelligence to look up all past applicants from candidates and determine what information they have already provided, considering the date freshness rules from the employer. This makes the system smart enough to never ask a candidate to answer the same questions twice, which makes a positive impression on the candidate and improves compliance requirements for the employer.
Extended Candidate Record – The challenges of the recent job market have more candidates relying on parttime, temporary and contract jobs. But in order to get an accurate view of an applicant, all past work history, job titles and education should be considered. TalentCloud Recruiting now parses an Extended Candidate Record and ensures that recruiters have a complete picture of each applicant, which improves the accuracy of candidate searches and increases the total pool of candidates.
Global Recruiting – As more companies expand into new markets and/or tap into emerging markets for top talent, they need a worldwide recruiting solution. New globalized functions allow hiring managers to duplicate or clone job orders and have their postings automatically update. Additionally, global address validation ensures that companies are looking at a real candidate and that their address is valid. Apply with LinkedIn – Jobscience TalentCloud was one of the first Applicant Tracking Systems (ATM) integrated into ‘Apply with LinkedIn’, which now comes standard with the Winter ’12 Release. For the first time, companies can offer job seekers the speed and simplicity of applying for a job using their LinkedIn profiles and uncover relationships within an organization to help make an introduction with hiring managers.
EEO Compliance Engine – As the number of requirements and applicants rise, EEO compliance has become an increasing challenge and legal liability for large companies. In order to remain EEO compliant, companies need to track potential candidates across race, gender, age and veteran status in addition to their reason for rejection.
The EEO Compliance Engine allows companies to record, audit, report and display their hiring decisions based on EEO compliance needs. The engine allows ‘rollover’ which keeps track of candidates in similar jobs and across multiple applications. Jobscience TalentCloud Recruiting Winter ’12 Release is immediately available. Pricing is based on the number of users and usage types.
